Advent begins this weekend. Advent is the season in which we prepare for the coming of our Lord Jesus. This year, we will be looking at how the Gospel of Matthew prepared the early Christians for the birth of Jesus, through its genealogy. Though the genealogy may appear boring, Matthew puts some very unexpected surprises throughout. This week, Pastor Jon preaches on Matthew 1:1-6.
